Panorama

The Panorama project encompassed a complete refurbishment package, transforming an outdated bungalow into a modern, high-specification residence. Given the poor condition of the existing floors and walls a full strip-out was necessary, requiring extensive civil and groundwork operations.

As part of this process, the floors were removed entirely, exposing the soil beneath. A suspended block and beam flooring system was then installed throughout the property, supported by newly established strip foundations to ensure long-term structural integrity. These critical groundwork operations were meticulously designed and executed by the Culmex Construction team, forming the foundation for the complete reconstruction of the bungalow.

Internally, the property underwent a full-scale rebuild, incorporating a bespoke windows and doors package. A particular highlight of this installation was the inclusion of two sets of bifold doors, strategically positioned to create a striking feature wall enhancing both natural light and seamless indoor-outdoor connectivity.

One of the key interior transformations involved the conversion of an existing space into a state-of-the-art production studio. This space was designed with high-performance soundproofing insulation, ensuring optimal acoustic quality and minimal external noise interference.

The interior fit-out was completed to the highest specification, featuring:

  • A custom designed kitchen with premium finishes and modern appliances
  • Luxury bathroom, meticulously designed for both functionality and aesthetics
  • Elegantly finished bedrooms, incorporating high-end materials and bespoke fittings

Externally, the property was modernised with the installation of new fascia’s, soffits, and gutters, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal. The outdoor spaces were also significantly enhanced with addition of a rear patio and newly constructed driveway, providing both practicality and visual coherence.

A notable custom addition to the property was the installation of bespoke gates, designed and fabricated exclusively for this project. These gates were powder-coated in a bespoke colour and fitted with custom cladding, creating a distinctive and welcome entrance to the home.

Beyond the main property, additional external features were seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape. A log and boiler housing canopy was thoughtfully designed and positioned within the hillside, ensuring a discreet and functional solution that remained hidden from direct view.

The Panorama project, though compact in scale, encompassed an extensive scope of work, resulting in a complete transformation of the property.  This meticulous refurbishment not only revitalised the bungalow’s structural and aesthetic qualities but also enhanced its functionality, creating a contemporary and highly refined living space.
