Our client approached us with minimal ideas or rejuvenating their home. After collaborating with Culmex, the project evolved into a full-scale design and build transformation.
The journey began with stripping and uninhabitable barn down to it’s bare wall, setting the stage for a stunning modern mini-barn conversion. The existing structure underwent a complete thermal upgrade, with perimeter stud lining and high-spec insulation added to the floor and roof. The flooring was re-joisted before being finished with elegant oak engineered planks.
A bespoke staircase in the snug area provides access to the newly refreshed first first floor. A custom dressing room features exposed beams, oak detailing and large Velux window lies along the corridor from a luxurious wetroom. The wetroom boasts high-end finishes, a full tiled floor, and an open rainfall shower. Access to this space is via an oak sliding door, set atop bespoke oak steps seamlessly integrated into the existing gable-end stone wall.
Though a small turnkey project, it was delivered with the highest standards and top-spec materials, resulting in a truly remarkable transformation.
